Sony PlayStation has announced that starting April 16, 2025, it will adjust the pricing for PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) subscription plans in Taiwan, Hong Kong, and Southeast Asia. All three membership tiers—Essential, Extra, and Deluxe—will see price increases ranging from 20% to 30%. The new rates will take effect on April 16 for new purchases, while existing subscribers will continue to be charged the original prices until their next renewal after June 24.
Playstation Plus New Prices for SEA players
On April 9, the PlayStation Blog revealed the PlayStation Plus (PS Plus) game catalog lineup for April 2025, and at the end of the announcement, confirmed that PS Plus subscription prices will increase across Southeast Asia starting April 16:
For the PlayStation Plus Essential tier, the new pricing for a 1-month subscription will cost SGD 10.90 | RM 35, THB 270 | Rp 126,000. The 3-month option is now priced at SGD 28.90| RM 95 | THB 720 | Rp 331,000. For the 12-month plan, players will pay SGD 88.90 | RM 285 | THB 2,200 | Rp 1,010,000.
In the PlayStation Plus Extra tier, the updated 1-month subscription costs SGD 15.90 | RM 55 | THB 410 | Rp 189,000. A 3-month subscription now goes for SGD 44.90 | RM 155 | THB 1,170 | Rp 536,000. The annual 12-month subscription is set at SGD 142.90 | RM 490 | THB 3,720 | Rp 1,710,000.
For the highest tier, PlayStation Plus Deluxe, the revised 1-month subscription is priced at SGD 18.90 | RM 65 | THB 480 | Rp 221,000. The 3-month plan will now cost SGD 53.90 | RM 185 | THB 1,380 | Rp 632,000. Finally, the 12-month subscription will be priced at SGD 169.90 | RM 575 | THB 4,350 | Rp 1,990,000.

Players who wish to upgrade or downgrade their PlayStation Plus membership at the current pricing must do so before April 16. Any changes made on or after that date—regardless of the original membership tier—will immediately be subject to the new pricing structure.
For existing PS Plus subscribers who choose to maintain their current tier and continue with auto-renewal, the updated prices will only take effect starting from June 24, 2025, or on their next renewal date thereafter. This means players can still enjoy the old rates until that point—but any membership adjustments made in the meantime will result in an immediate shift to the new pricing.
At the same time, PlayStation has also announced the April game lineup for PS Plus Extra and Deluxe members. Headlining the new additions is the hit magical adventure Hogwarts Legacy, alongside narrative puzzle game Blue Prince and the emotionally charged Lost Records: Bloom & Rage Tape 2.
